From my standpoint, a new year doesn't really bring anything new. It just is a day that gives false hope to everyone around the world, tricking them into believing that anything is possible. Most people would think that maybe a new year would make people happier and more eager to not be mean or hurt others feelings but once again, WRONG.
As happy as i am to be surrounded by great friends and to have a great night ahead of me, I cant help but be sad.
Sorry this is so pathetic.
